Our one year old class hopes to make this a time you will cherish forever. Your little one will be introduced to colors, nursery rhymes, Bible stories, songs, friends, and lots of laughs. We hope to see you soon.

Our two year old class is a well structured and balanced environment. We begin each day with free play and gradually progress into our academic program. Each week a new color, shape, number, and letter are introduced in a fun and playful way. We also teach Bible Stories, nursery rhymes, and special activities including farm animals, weather conditions, and seasonal crafts. Each child will learn the Pledge of Allegiance, the days of the week, the months of the year, Bible verses and many new songs.

Our three year old class introduces children to colors, shapes, numbers, and letters. Each week the letter of the week is reinforced with stories, coordinating crafts and show and tell. This experience allows your child to gain self confidence, develop and practice listening, language and motor skills, and learn to cooperate with other children. Children also learn Bible Stories, Bible Verses, Nursery Rhymes, Days, Months, and Seasonal Themes as they discover the world around them.

Our 4 year old class prepares your child for Kindergarten. The emphasis is on learning the basics such as colors, shapes, numbers, letters, sounds, and writing while creating a fun, warm, and loving environment. We will continue to nurture faith development through daily Bible Stories and devotions. Children will discover God’s world through class activities as well as field trips. Your child will interact with other children in learning centers and in a structured setting that will ease their transition to elementary school. Children will progress into sight words and simple reading books. Come and allow your child to participate in this exciting endeavor as they transform into Kindergarteners.

A Child’s Place generally follows the Wilson County School System schedule for holidays and weather.
